Thanks to her compact size, IRIS fits anywhere you want to add a touch of refinement. Think of your coffee table among other accessories, as an accent in a cabinet, or as a detail on the windowsill. What makes IRIS so versatile is the removable glass insert that allows you to use both fresh flowers and dried flowers. Style this rounded vase with some decorative twigs for a natural touch or use her as a stylish decorative accent.

IRIS is specially made for you in my studio in Zeewolde with a 3D printer. Through the layer-by-layer building of recycled bioplastic, a beautiful layered texture emerges that you can both see and feel. This way, food packaging from the Benelux gets a stylish second life. Can this vase with water?

Yes, you can use the vase with water by placing the glass insert that is included with every vase. Fill the glass insert with water and enjoy fresh flowers. The glass insert is also perfect for use with dried or artificial flowers.

Are 3D printed vases fragile?

They do not break or shatter easily if they fall over, making them safe to use around children or pets. Even though the wall of the vase is thinner than ceramic or glass, they are robust and long-lasting.

Why is the vase so light?

Due to the nature of the plastic material, my vases are lighter than ceramic or glass. This makes them easy to lift or move and also less fragile if they fall.

However, with heavy silk bouquets, this can sometimes present challenges. For these types of bouquets, I recommend choosing a vase with a wider base, or possibly weighing the vase down.
